Michelle is a real voice in yoga, never yoga voice.
Michelle is an award-winning journalist, the author of three books on yoga, an E-500 RYT and based in Denver, Colorado. Her motto for 2019 is "At Your Service." She believes that if we lift each other up, we'll rise higher, together. Michelle dedicates this year to doing what she can to help you shine.
Michelle's books are about yoga, and so much more. She writes about the poignant issues in our lives on and off the mat. She contributes to Yoga International, Sports illustrated, the Elephant Journal , Origin Magazine, Mantra Yoga and Health Magazine, Teachasana, My Yoga Online , and 90 Monkeys. Mission Statement: I teach yoga to help everyone find clarity on the mat, and purpose in life. We also laugh a lot.
Michelle teaches yoga with an eye to improving alignment and growing one's practice. She meets every student where they are, and supports them along the way. Michelle teaches with patience, precision and a whole lot of humor. If you can't laugh at yourself doing yoga, you might be doing it wrong.
Michelle is known for her themes and inspiration. She offers the "Theme Weaver" series of workshops to help yoga teachers connect authentically to students. She is also available for fundraisers and events where a little something "more" is needed on the mat. Michelle offers private instruction, workshops, teacher trainings and retreats to share time with other great beings on the path.
