Michelle Marchildon is the Yogi Muse.

She is a real voice in yoga, never yoga voice.

Michelle is an author, an award-winning journalist and columnist. With wit and wisdom, Michelle writes about the funny and poignant issues in our lives. She contributes to  Yoga InternationalSports illustrated, the Elephant Journal , Origin Magazine, Mantra Yoga and Health Magazine, Teachasana, My Yoga Online , and 90 Monkeys. She has videos on YogaDownload and YogaSteya. She also writes The Yogi Muse blog.

Michelle is the author of two books. Finding More on the Mat: How I grew Better, Wiser and Stronger through Yoga is the hilarious story of an older yogi’s transformation through yoga Theme Weaver: Connect the Power of Inspiration to Teaching Yoga is the premier resource for showing yoga teachers how to use a theme in yoga.


Teaching: A balance of alignment and flow.

As a teacher, Michelle’s mission is to help everyone find clarity and rediscover their potential on the mat. Her classes are where theme, asana and flow blend seamlessly to take you deeper in your practice. Michelle puts the potential in your body and gives you a path to find your dreams.  Through the steady practice of yoga, she believes everyone can find more in their lives.


Workshops, Retreats and Speaking

Michelle is known for her blend of inspiration and asana on the mat. Michelle offers the “Theme Weaver” series of workshops designed to help yoga teachers find their own inspiration and connect authentically to students. Michelle is also a motivational teacher and is often used for fundraisers and yogathons. She is an approved “Wisdom Warrior” yoga teacher for the older student, a class designed by Desiree Rumbaugh. Michelle offers private instruction, workshops, teacher trainings and retreats to share time with other great beings on the path.
