An hour class focusing on foundations, building strength and suppleness and community. We laugh as we go lightly along the way. *This class is full.

Michelle teaches Align and Flow at this darling studio in southwest Denver. The class is focused on Level 1 postures with an eye to improving alignment, understanding the pose, supporting the student and growing one's practice. She meets every student where they are, and supports them along the way. Michelle teaches with patience, technical precision and humor. If you can't laugh at yourself doing yoga, you might be doing it wrong.

On Tuesday the beginners rule as we focus on making poses accessible and growing our practice. On Wednesday, we explore the poses and often play in inversions, arm balances and deeper backbends. Alignment yoga is not "gentle" yoga, but a more precise, focused practice. The Wednesday "Warriors" have been meeting for nearly 10 years in South Denver. We've grown better together as we see how to make the harder poses work for our bodies and needs.

Michelle has been part of the GATC community for years and teaches in the Teacher Trainings, Workshops and private sessions. She is on a little hiatus from weekly classes at this time.

The key to unlocking the practice, and attaining the most difficult, level 3 poses resides in how we begin. How we begin is how we proceed. Michelle teaches with patience, precision and a whole lot of humor. If you can't laugh at yourself and have fun while doing yoga, you might be doing it wrong. It is never too late to start. We want a life with everything.
