Michelle Berman Marchildon is a yogi, mother and writer trying to maintain a sense of humor in a hectic world. She’s an award-winning journalist, author of The Yogi Muse Blog and the memoir, Finding More on the Mat: How I Grew Better, Wiser and Stronger through Yoga. Her upcoming book for yoga teachers, Theme Weaver: Connect the Power of Inspiration to Teaching Yoga, is available March 2013.

She’s a columnist for Elephant Journal and Origin Magazine and a contributor to Yoga Journal, Teachasana and My Yoga Online. She is known as ‘The Erma Bombeck of the Mat.’

She teaches yoga and raises her family in Denver, Colorado. Her classes are available on www.yogadownload.com.

Michelle is an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance. She has been practicing since 1999 and teaching since 2007.  She started with an Ashtanga practice, then worked her way through Power, Vinyasa and Anusara Yoga styles. You can find her local classes at Corepower Yoga in Cherry Hills, Colorado, Sacredi in Park Hill and One Yoga Denver in the D.T.C.

Michelle tries to help everyone rediscover their potential by finding more on the mat. Through a balance of alignment and flow, Michelle’s classes take you to a deeper awareness in your practice. Known for her ability to weave a theme with technical cues, Michelle can put the story in your body and give you a path to find your dreams.  Her class will have you laughing through the tears to enlightenment.

Michelle supports the rights, welfare and sanctuaries of animals. She is also active in causes supporting children and family.
